Kilns are magical warriors and guardians of the Undermind. The omnipresent roots of the Undermind metabolize souls into magical ether that you capture in your wooden talismans. Different woods burn with different powers, and you wield them all to turn your foes to ash.

As a kiln, you arrive to stoke the flame wherever the spark of opportunity presents itself, empowering your allies to devastate your enemies. Should the need arise, however, you’re well-equipped to put those who stand against you to the pyre yourself.

THE KILN is a third-party class for Draw Steel. The kiln is a shaman-like martial warrior who gains power by burning special, hand-crafted wooden talismans, powering their abilities with their Heroic Resource - Spark. Mechanically, the class is designed to focus on mobility, command, and buffing your allies so they can do big damage. The class lets you use a martial kit, but features a lot of magic abilities. The Kiln features three subclasses called Cadres - Flameweaver, Hexblaze, and Smokewight. This class has seen multiple full campaigns of playtesting through many hours.
